Passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on Sunday, August 12, 2012 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Hilda (nee Grant) for 62 years. Dear father of Tom and his wife Catherine, Dan and his wife Debbie. Survived by his brother John Mahoney. Predeceased by his siblings Walter, Kay, Maurice, Irene, Mike, Si, Jo, Dennis, Jim, Ann and Gerry. Proud grandfather of Jennifer, Bronnley, Derek, Darren, David, Dylan and great-grandpa of Caleigh, Alana, Brendan, Luke, Emma, Evan, Lyla, Brittney, Carson, Rhyenne and 2 great-grandchildren, soon to be born. Sadly missed by many good friends, especially Leta and George. Pat thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to give back to the community. He volunteered at St. Joseph’s Hospital, drove for CNIB and Meals on Wheels. After retirement, Pat found a passion for art, painting and drawing, especially portraiture. He and Hilda enjoyed many summers at their cottage on Chemong Lake. The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Wednesday, August 15th from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH, 300 Wilson Street, on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
