Patrick Pat John O'Neill

After a courageous and noble 2 year battle with cancer, Pat passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He spent the last 4 weeks teaching and reminding us with clarity about who he was as a human being, imprinting us with his sense of humour, his kind and gentle spirit, intelligence, incredible sense of others, but most of all his ability to express his love for all of us in his own unique way. Pat is survived by his wife Tammy McConnell, 2 step children (Justin and Tara) beautiful dog Tyson. Dear son of Jack and Mary Ann O'Neill. Loving brother of Jeff O'Neill and wife Tina (Gemmiti), Jennifer Girard (O'Neill) and husband Sean. Son-in-law of Brenda McConnell. Brother-in-law of Cherie McConnell and her husband Steve, Terry Moore and his wife Tara, Kevin Moore and his wife Melissa. He will be dearly missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces , great niece, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and family. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street from 10 am to 12 noon on Saturday September 21, 2013. A Celebration of Life/Drum Ceremony will be held at ISABEL MORRIS PARK, 20 Concession Street, Lakefield (behind the arena) at 2:00 pm. We would like to thank the nursing staff at PRHC palliative care for their amazing support and a very special thank you to Jaimie who cared for Pat at home everyday.
