It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Peer Christensen, a loving husband to Lori, father to Elijane (Jonathan), Kai (Rebecca) and Carl (Justin), and grandfather to Hero, Alexis and Jethro Ramsay, Anna, Bruno and Felix Christensen.
Brother to Lars (Ruth), brother-in-law to Carl (Jane) and Mary Lou (Lisa). Uncle to Erik Christensen, Jonah Trinkwon (Roxy) and great uncle to Juni Trinkwon.
He passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
He will be remembered as a patron of the arts, and through the legacy of his paintings.
To his last moments he was filled with gratitude for being able to live such a full life, touched by so many amazing people.
He is now in the loving arms of the Lord, always to remain in our hearts.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Webster and the wonderful team at Hospice for their exemplary care.
A memorial service will be held August 21, 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel United Church, Peterborough.
