Reginald Bruce Ferguson

Peacefully passed away at Centennial Place, on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the age of 103. Beloved husband of the late Dorothea Kidd. Loving father of Peter (Barb), Cheryl McLeod (Hugh), Judy Matwey (Patrick), Anne Frame (Bob), Ken (Dawn), the late Roger, the late Elaine Porter (Roger), and the late Debbie McCuaig (Jim). Proud grandpa of Elizabeth (James), PJ (Jen), Micheal (Jill), Jeffrey (Caitlin), Ben (Nicole), Caitlin, Julie (Nathan), Neil (Bonnie), Paul (Jen), Janet (Mike), Sarah, William, and Reanna; and Great-grandpa of 12. Predeceased by his siblings Jack (late Phyllis), Barb Van Leeuwen (late Tony) and brothers-in-laws Norman Kidd (late Vivian), Irene Curtin (late Edwin), Earl Kidd, and Milton Kidd (late Erma). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reg was a member of the Otonabee Lodge #101 and the Peterborough Valley Order of the Scottish Rite. Reg was also a past president of the Peterborough Exhibition Board and the Peterborough County Junior Farmers.

Reg’s family will receive friends at the COMSTOCK-KAYE life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm. Followed by a Mason Service. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In honour of Reginald, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be greatly appreciated.
