Peacefully, at the PRHC, with his loving family by his side, on Friday, April 27th, 2018, after a brief illness, at the age of 83. Alex, beloved husband for over 60 years of Shirley Kerr. Dear father of Steven (Sandra), Colleen (Dwain Ketcheson), Samuel, and the late David. Cherished Grandpa of Felicia and Edward Ketcheson, and Nicholas Jackson. Dear brother of Gordon of Thunder Bay, and the late Edward and Marlene. Friends may call at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Wednesday, May 2nd from 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. Reverend Dwain Ketcheson (son-in-law) officiating, assisted by Reverend Julie vanHaaften. Visitation 1 hour prior. At Alex's request, inurnment will take place in Windsor at a later date.
