Robert Filman

Entered into rest at the Peterborough Regional Health Center on March 7, 2016 surrounded by his family at the age of 63. Bob is survived by his life partner and best friend, Terri "Boo" Cadigan (nee Webb). He was a very proud father of his children, Mandy and Sam Filman and Jonothon and Jenna Cadigan. He was a loving and proud grandfather to Caylee. Devoted brother to his many brothers and sisters, Brad Filman and wife Judy, Donna Moore and husband Scott, Lynn O'Connor and husband Jerry, and Peter Filman and his wife Christine. He was also a very beloved uncle to all of his many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his mother and father, Cecil and Ruth Filman (nee Funston) and brother David Filman and sister Gail Teasdale, wife of Brian. Bobby was a very popular man and will be greatly missed by a large amount of family and friends. His door was always open and he was considered a second father to all of the east city kids. He loved the outdoors and fishing as well as being an avid baseball and hockey fan. He was a genuine good person and one of a kind. A visitation will be held at Kaye Funeral Home & Memorial Chapel in Peterborough on Saturday March 12th from 2-5, 705-745-7889. Cremation has already taken place. The family is asking that instead of flowers, a donation could be made to the charity of their choice.
