ing father to Erik and Alexandra, and husband to Fran, passed away early in the morning surrounded by family and friends. He was also a fun and doting grandfather to Mackenzie and Bailey, and uncle to Kim and John Armstrong.
He lived a geographically, diverse life, born in Atikokan Ontario, growing up in Texada Island British Columbia and Collingwood Ontario. Bob attended Parkdale Colligate in Toronto and studied history at Trent University in Peterborough.
His passions in life included reading, travel, and socializing. Before retirement, Bob worked for the Ministry of Health and Welfare in the federal government.
A service to celebrate his life will take place at Mark Street United Church in Peterborough Ontario at 1pm on Wednesday November 1st, Reception to follow at the Kawartha Golf and Country Club also in Peterborough Ontario.
