Beloved husband of Lori (née Smith). Rory was a devoted and proud father to McKayla Walden (Shane), Keyanna O’Rourke, and Riley O’Rourke. His family was the centre of his world, and he took great pride in every moment spent with them.
Rory had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether he was out on his boat fishing, enjoying time at the trailer, riding his ATV, or taking in the beauty of the ocean, he felt most at peace surrounded by nature. He lived life fully and found joy in its simplest, most meaningful moments.
A mentor and friend to many, Rory was widely respected for his strength, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand or offer guidance. His presence left a lasting impression on those who knew him, and his absence will be deeply felt.
He will be remembered with love, missed beyond words, and carried always in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Visitation will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, ON K9H2A2, CA, on May 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
