Beloved wife of Arnold Vernon Weirmeir for 56 years and the late Alden Neil. Daughter of the late Solomon “Teddy” Edwards and Sarah Delilah Hurl. Loving mother of Clifford and Julie-Anne Weirmeir and grandmother of Clifford, Kayla & Sarah Weirmeir. Sister of the late Stanley, William, Norman, Wilfred, & George Edwards, Thelma Eunice Whawell and Elizabeth “Bessie” Weirmeir. Ruby will be missed by many other relatives & friends across Canada. Visiting will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Wednesday, July 21 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and Thursday, July 22 from 10-11 am. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 am. Reverend Glen Sadlier officiating. Interment at Lakefield Cemetery to follow.
