Johnstone, Suzanne: peacefully at home on August 16, 2017. Predeceased by beloved husband of 57 years Robert. Loving and loved mother of Laura (Greg), Bruce (Carol)) and Andrew (Colleen). Adored grandmother to Kevin, Kristin, Alexander, Kate, Meghan and Bridget. Delighted Great Grandmother of Owen, Ivy, Sadie, Evelyn, Charlotte and Maisie. Suzanne was a woman of incredible strength, courage, and drive. Born in Poland, she managed to survive the Holocaust, and went on to earn a degree in nursing which became a life-long profession. Suzanne often said that she considered herself the luckiest woman in the world; she was blessed with a wonderful marriage and family. We will miss her very much. The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. R. Binette who cared for Suzanne for many years, in addition to Dr. John Beamish, the staff of St. Elizabeth’s Home Care, and to Meghan Smith.
