Suzanne Paluck-Kingdon

December 31, 1949- January 22, 2017

Suzanne Paluck-Kingdon died January 22, 2017 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre with her loving husband of 40 years Daniel Kingdon by her side. Born in Darlington, England Suzanne was the daughter of Ann Paluck (nee Richmond, d. 2015) and Joseph Paluck (d. 2013).

Suzanne immigrated to Canada in 1964 with her family. Retired in 2010 from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

Survived by her two daughters Sophianne Kingdon (Adam Burgess) and Allison Kingdon; and her two grandchildren Esme Burgess and Coen Burgess.

Siblings Margaret Fortey (Peter Fortey), Lorraine Potvin (Jean Potvin), Anita Magis(d. 2004)(Andy Magis), Anthony Paluck, Elizabeth Ann (d. Infancy), Mario Paluck (Lise Robillard), Raymond Paluck, Rose Marie Beaudin (Bernie Beaudin), Yvonne Paluck, and Marcel Paluck.

In honouring Suzanne’s wishes there will be a private cremation. Celebrations of her life are planned for Port Mouton, NS, and Ottawa, ON later this year following her committal in Peterborough. Thanks to the caregiving professionals at the Kingston General Hospital, the Cancer Care Centre Eastern Ontario and the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. In particular we wish to recognize the compassion and care given to Suzanne on ward B3 at the PRHC.
