Theresa Mary Roche

Passed away peacefully in her sleep in the care of St. Joseph’s at Fleming. Predeceased by her parents, Martin & Cecile (nee Desjardin), and her brothers and sisters, Peggy Madden (John), Roxy Lang (Louis), Paul Roche, Maureen Epping (Jack), Mary Quinlan (Buck), Bill Roche (Rosemary), Louise Hunt (Vern), and Peter Roche (Shirley). Loved Aunt to many nieces and nephews, Theresa (Aunt Tessy) will always be remembered for her zest to live and love. She did not judge and always welcomed others with a warm loving hug. She had a beautiful smile and a contagious giggle. Tess enjoyed the outdoors, often photographing the most amazingly common objects into the most beautiful of muse. After her time in the nunnery, Tessy continued following her calling as a natural caregiver and became a nurse enjoying a 25-year career in Honolulu, Hawaii before retiring home to Peterborough in 1999. Per her wishes, a Memorial Mass will be held at the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains on Monday, May 4th, 2015 at 10.30am . “God Bless” Tessy.
