Vincent Maurice Boyde Dunford

Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Monday May 24, 2021, in his 84th year. Survived by his wife of 44 years Valerie (nee Waltham). Born and raised in Lakefield and surrounding area, Boyd worked tirelessly raising livestock on family farms and driving teams of horses through many local community events. Later working for many years with the Otonabee Regional Conservation Authority and passing his time in retirement as a long-time vendor at the Peterborough Farmers’ Market.

Boyd is survived by his children Ross (Sonya) Dunford, Rosalie (Christopher) Stonehouse, Marilyn (Jim) Vinette, Marsha (Gord) Orr with his first wife Lauretta Dunford (nee Ayotte, predeceased); and Michael (Christine) Dunford, David (Anne) Dunford, Dale (Julie) Dunford, and Tim (Heather) Dunford with Valerie Dunford. Beloved Grandpa and Papa to Derek, Lauretta, Justin, Hilliary, Paige, Jordyn, Jeffrey, Kyra, Brayden, Camden, Brianne, Joe and Billy. Proud Great-Grandfather to Emma, Violet, Bellamy, Noah, Lincoln, Ross and Colton. Boyd is predeceased by his loving parents Ralph and Velma Dunford (nee Bullock) and siblings Sandford, Ross, and Brenda and survived by siblings Elva Dunford, Sandra (David)Tully, and Marion (late John) McFall.
