Peacefully, at Empress Gardens on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Mary Churchill Speck (née Dunn). Loving father of Ronald Speck (Debbie), Scott (Cindy) and Paul (Mary). Proud grandfather of Tyler, Tara, Shannon, Matthew (Caterina), Michael, Tiina (Jim), Andy, Liisa, and great-grandfather of Ellie, Rylee, Sammy, Markus, Evan, Zack, Izzy, Dylan, Alicya, Olivia and Julia. Brother of the late Art Speck. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Hilkka (Scott). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 11 am -1 pm, followed by a private family service. In honour of Wally, donations to the PRHC Foundation would be greatly appreciated by his family.
