Wojciech Drzymala

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Wojtek Drzymala on February 3rd, 2026 at the age of 74 years old.

Wojtek was a cherished husband of Zofia, a loving father to his children, Malgorzata (Darek), and Peter (Monika) as well as adored grandfather of Kasia, Chris, Nicole and Alex.

Wojtek was a person with many passions and interests. He was kind, generous, hardworking and always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A bit of an old soul, he bestowed his children with traditional values, principles as well as integrities and treasured every moment he spent with them.

His magnetic personality often put him in the center of the room, especially when he showered everyone with his contagious humour and laughter. He adored the outdoors and infected his children and grandchildren with the same kind of love and respect for nature and animals. A legacy he leaves behind will forever live on through his children and grandchildren.

Wojtek will be greatly missed and leave an everlasting footprint in the hearts of his family, friends and anyone who had the privilege of ever knowing him.

A funeral Mass will he held at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (386 Rogers St., Peterborough, ON K9H 1W7) on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 at 11:00 am. Rosary Prayer will be before the mass at 10:30 am. Wojtek will be laid to rest at the Rosemount Memorial Gardens (2551 Whittington Drive, Peterborough, ON K9J 0G5) following the Funeral Mass.
