Anthony was born on March 12, 1976 in Austin, Texas to Rodolfo Pena Hernandez and Diane (Benites) Hernandez. Anthony was a caring, loving and truly devoted father, grandfather and friend to so many. He was an entrepreneur and self-employed as an amazing Barber. He will be forever remembered for his true one of a kind personality that was filled with laughter, generosity and love for his family and friends. He was passionate about Cooking, Grilling, Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, Poker, Family, Friends, Finding and Creating Adventures and of course his love of his favorite drink Bud Light. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughter Erika Torres and her husband Michael of Manor, Texas; two sons, Joe Anthony Hernandez of Pflugerville, Texas and Joshua Hernandez of Pflugerville, Texas; two brothers, Orlando Hernandez and his wife Monica of Manor, Texas and Michael Hernandez and his wife Stacy of Austin, Texas. As well as many extended family members and close friends.
Anthony was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Luna and Father, Rodolfo Pena Hernandez.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home.
Anthony’s Family wishes to offer their most sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they have been shown by family and friends. His family also wishes to ask those in attendance to wear their favorite Longhorns or Cowboys attire in honoring and Celebrating Anthony on Friday.
