I like to offer my sincere condolences to the Nazier"s family. I have heard so many beautiful stories of your mum and it really touched my heart, and I will like to assure you that she has left a legacy for the bereaved family to cherish.A life well lived. In the name of Allah most Gracious most Merciful. My deepest sympathy to the entire family of Aroen Nissa Nazier.She was a very strong and special lady indeed, and that is how I will always remember her. She will live forever in my heart and my prayers until we meet again in Heaven in the Hear After. We have shared a very special bond which will never ever be broken. It is the kind that real family shares, I loved her dearly, she was special to me in countless ways. May God forgive her and bless her soul, and give her a peaceful resting place to live until the day of judgement and on the day of judgement may Allah resurrect her among the righteous in the home of paradise. She will remain in my heart and my prayers until the last day. O God bless her soul and keep her at peace. Rest in peace I have loved you even though I did not get to tell you before you departed. I love you and in my prayers you will stay. RIP

I am so sad to hear that Nissa passed away while I have been in Arizona helping my mother.  I wish I could have attended her memorial service.  I would have loved to have hugged Sharida and Roy and the girls.  You have lost a loving mother.  Nissa and I have had a lot of fun together and shared a lot of good laughs.  We have also shared a few tears.  In spite of our closeness, she always addressed me as Sister Bryson and never as Susan, but I felt we were sisters. These are some things I remember:  She loved her children, and she was intensely loyal to them.  She was proud of their accomplishments.   Her grandchildren were her delight, both those who lived far away and those who were near. She loved the children she cared for in her home.  She was an excellent cook.  She was a good money manager.  She took pride in providing for herself.   She operated her own businesses -- childcare and Avon.  She was a seamstress who could construct dresses without patterns.  She told me that she taught herself to be fluent in English by reading the National Enquirer and watching TV.   She felt true terror the day after 9/11.  She suffered through many health issues.  She was brave in the midst of challenges that many of us can only imagine. She had beautiful, graceful hands.   One time she asked me to help her fill out a form and asked what she should check for "race."  She said, "Sister Bryson, What AM I?"  I replied, "You are an East Indian from South America who speaks Dutch and lives in the United States -- AND you are a child of God!!"  We had a good laugh.  I have many sweet memories of my friend, Nissa.  Since I didn't get to say goodbye, I am looking forward to seeing her again and putting my arms around her.

My heart felt sympathy to Aunty Aroen's entire family. She was a great lady, and she meant a lot to me. My words are not enough to express how i feel about her. May Allah bless her soul and give her a peaceful resting place to live until the day of judgement and on the day of judgement may Allah resurrect her among the righteous in the home of paradise. Bless her Soul O, GOD. Rest in peace Aunty Aroen, I love you.
