On May 1, 1982 Barbara married her love, Michael D. Hartman. Barbara had a long career with the Austin Independent School District. She was employed at Highland Park Elementary and McCallum High School.
Barbara’s main passion in life was her family and their overall well-being. Cherishing her memory are her loving husband, Michael; son, Richard H. Walton; grandchildren, Jason Coach and Stormie Coach and great-granddaughters, Ashlynn Coach and Brennan Moore. Barbara is survived by one sibling, Allen Coach.
A visitation will be held at 8:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
