Carol Sue Gardner

Carol Sue Gardner, 72, of Austin, Texas lost her life on July 6, 2013 after being such a strong woman for so long. Carol was born on February 23, 1941 in Jacksonville, Texas to Ephie and Elma Giroir. The world has lost a beautiful light, however Carol has finally received her wings.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Ephie and Elma Giroir and her only brother, Harold Joe Giroir.

Carol’s memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Robert William Gardner Jr. with whom she shared 35 years of life. The light shines a little dimmer in her children's eyes as she leaves behind her sons, Mark Thomas Giroir Sr. (Vanessa Vega), and Bobby Joe Gardner Sr. (Chandra Gardner); and her daughter, Darla Sue Wenzel (Bill Wenzel). She also leaves behind her beautiful grandchildren, Mark Thomas Giroir Jr., Ciarra, Masiah and Bobby Joe Gardner Jr., Sean and Jayden Wenzel, John Paul Rodriguez and Jessica Loyola; and great-grandchildren, John Paul Jr. and J'Lynn. Carol will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends. We truly lost a great woman with a heart of gold.
