Charles was proud to have graduated from St. Edwards Highschool and prouder to still be in contact with many of his former classmates.
Charles served two tours in the U. S. Navy where he met the love of his life, Lois Hersey, while serving in Brunswick, Maine.
Charles loved to travel and after his cruise to Alaska three years ago, he could proudly say he had been to every state.
Charles loved family first and foremost, sports, especially golf which he took up later in life, and games.
Charles is survived by son, Michael; daughter-in law, Brenda; and granddaughter, Alicia. He is also survived by his sisters, Ruth Gibbs, Angela Porfirio, and Mary Taylor (husband David) along with brothers, Santo and Vance (wife Annette). Charles will be forever remembered by his many nieces and nephews along with his second family in Maine especially his golfing buddies, Randall Hersey, Josh Pratt, Allison Blanchard, and Derrick Blanchard. Charles was predeceased by his wife, Lois, and sister, Patricia Nassour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or DFW Canines for Veterans.
