She loved Christmas, baking and spending time with her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed deeply by the family she was so proud of and loved so much.
Christine is preceded in death by her father, David Hurry Sr., her mother, Erna Hurry, brother, David Hurry Jr., sisters, Mertie Hurry and Beatrice Hurry, daughter, Debbie Hunter-Weir, grandson, Ryan William Govro, and her great-grandson, Jace Daniel Weir.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Billy Wayne Govro; her grandchildren, Kimberly Johnson, Robert Weir and Brittney Weir; and her great-grandchildren, Kara, Tara, Chloe, Koltan, Clinton, Carolann, Zachary and Jacob.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation to be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. A service celebrating her life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
