Claude was born on September 22, 1954 in Austin, Texas to the late Morris Brown and Lucile (Wilson) Brown. Claude was a true one of a kind individual. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and friend to so many. He was a Retired Veteran serving in the United States Army for over 20 years. He was employed with the Bulk Postal Service, where he retired in 2018.
Claude can forever be remembered for his love of family, his unique ability and passion for restoring antique cars and especially trucks. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Claude has been married to the love of his life Earnestine (Clay) Brown for 44 years.
In addition to his wife, Claude is survived by his 3 children, Claude Henry Brown, Jr. of Palestine, Texas, Veronica Yvonne Brown of Colony, Texas, and Demetria Nicole Brown of Dallas Texas. He also leaves behind his 3 sisters, Dorothy Louise Coffee of Blanco, Texas, Deborah Ashad (Amen) of Round Rock, Texas and Tonya Eunica Cowart, of Spring, Texas, as well as his 2 brothers, Charles Raymond Brown of Bastrop, Texas and Bill Anthony Brown of Killeen, Texas. Claude will be missed by his 5 Grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Courtney Brown, Deyvon Jenkins, DeKadrak Lewis, and Gabriel-Elijah Brown.
Celebration of Life will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, in Killeen, Texas, where military honors will be afforded. A Visitation for family and friends will be conducted on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
