Craig Louis Dunn

Craig Louis Dunn, also known as DJ Crazy Craig, 52, of Austin, Texas, passed away on January 16, 2023. Craig was born in Arlington, Texas, on May 5, 1970, to parents Paul Alpherin Dunn and Francoise Ginette Dunn. Craig graduated from Westwood High School. After high school, he went on to attend the University of Texas and excelled with natural talent and self-taught determination; he married the love of his life Michelle Garza-Dunn on June 8, 2013. He had a career in Software Engineering and worked for Smart technologies, VOXpath Networks, Quickarrow, and Oracle Netsuite. Craig had hobbies of reading fantasy novels, creative crafting, and history and current events, but his passion was in music and DJing. Craig owned and operated Digital Jamz Productions. As an Austin DJ legend, he worked for the Beat 104.3, KKLB 92.5, Spiros, Desperados, Tejano Ranch, and many more local Austin institutions. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Garza-Dunn; children: Crystal Lynn Dunn (Barrick), Brittany Hector, and Anthony Hector; grandchildren: David Barrick, Savannah Hector, Madelyn Hector; sister, Marina Dunn. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Craig will then be laid to rest in Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Stephen Hidrogo, Tury Quinonez (2DQ), Marco Martinez (DJ Inferno), Marlo Martinez (DJ Inferno), Roland Bazan (Rolandito), Andrew Trevino (Just Drew), David Barrick and Joe Perez (JK).
