Cynthia Ochoa Garcia, born April 15, 1957, to Joe and Hope Ruiz, she passed away on June 24th, 2025, after a recent battle with dementia. Cynthia was born in Robstown, Texas, and lived in Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her Mother and beloved Husband, Ruben. Cynthia was cherished by her sisters Inelda, Elizabeth Joann, Deborah and Rebecca. She is survived by her five children, Edward, Jennifer, Tommy, Crystal, and Luther; grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she deeply loved.
Her family would like to thank all the family and friends who offered their support and prayers during this difficult time. A private family viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., followed by a public celebration of Cynthia’s life from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. led by Reverend Fred Blackman at the Cook- Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will commence at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, at Cook Walden in the Longhorn Room, with her burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery located at 14501 N. I-H 35, Pflugerville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
