Cynthia Ann Serna

Cynthia Ann Serna was born on September 23, 1960 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Narciso and Virginia (Gomez) Mendez and passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 25, 2025, she was 65. She was a private, reserved person whom loved her family and friends. She was a member of St. Elizabeth’s of Hungary Catholic Church.

Cynthia is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rumaldo Serna; son, Julian Serna and wife, Rebecca; daughter, Jennifer Ramirez and husband, Mario; mother, Virginia Mendez, grandchildren, Mario Ramirez, Jr., Catherine Ramirez, Therese Ramirez, Christopher Ramirez, Dominic Ramirez, Anthony Ramirez and Raphael Serna; brothers, Arnold Mendez and wife, Janie; Mike Mendez and wife, Katie along with many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Narciso Mendez.

A visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, located at 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas, 78660, on December 4, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will also take place at the same venue on December 4, 2025, at 7:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass is scheduled for December 5, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 1520 N Railroad Ave, Pflugerville, Texas, 78660.

The committal service will follow at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery, 330 Berry Ln, Georgetown, Texas, 78626, on December 5, 2025, at 12:00 pm.
