I was saddened to learn of Joe's passing and offer condolences to his family.  I remember visiting with the Asmore family in the early 1950's and playing with Joe and his sister Marianne.  If I remember correctly, my mother Margaret Wallace and Helen Ashmore were in the hospital at the same for deliveries. I think that Joe's older sister and I were born on the same day.  My parents thought highly of Joe's parents and from what my mother has related, Sherman and Helen were proud of all of their children.  Again my condolences to Joe's family on his passing.

I didn't know Joe, but I remember his parents, Sherman and Helen, well. They were good friends to my parents, Chester and Margaret Wallace as well as Joe Colthorp. Sherman helped my Mother tremendously after my father passed away in 1985, especially with her taxes. It sounds like Joe was just like his father. 

Mom and I were recently looking at old pictures, some of which contained Helen and Sherman. Those photos brought back fond memories for her. 

I'm sure Joe has joined his parents in heaven along with Joe Colthorp and my Dad and they are all standing on a knoll covered in bluebonnets.

David was such a wonderful man, always freely sharing his knowledge and displaying his friendship, not only on the job. Even in the years after we no longer worked together, David didn't mind getting on the phone and listening to me describe some problem with my car and advising me on how to best make the repair.  My old Cadillac was on the road for over 237K miles and a lot of those miles were because of help from David. I am saddened with David's passing and I offer my most sincere condolences to David's family.

Sincere sympathies to the family.  Cherish the fond memories.  In God's memory.

There is peace in the passing. My sympathy and condolence goes to the family. David will be missed.

I'll always remember your help over the years w/ my computer and cars. You will be missed by many.

David Ashmore was a kind and gentle "big guy" with a big heart.  He was an excellent equipment engineer that would go out of his way to help anyone and everyone that he could, while always being respectful and kind in the process.  I never heard a foul word from David but always witnessed  problem solving calmness in a very stressful semiconductor manufacturing environment. David was easily the  kindest expert that I knew in the industry.  My heart goes out to Peggy and all of David's family.

Sincere condolences to David's family. He was one of the nicest people ever.
