Dianne Wahl Armstrong, born in Greenwood, MS on March 16, 1945, passed away quietly and peacefully with her family by her side on December 18, 2011 in the hospital after many years of long and hard fought illnesses. She died from complications related to Diabetes Melitus to include pulmonary, heart and kidney problems. Even many who knew her well didn’t realize she was suffering from all of these problems for the past 15 years. She truly loved her Lord Jesus Christ and was a strong believer in prayers.
Survivors are her husband George Armstrong; son Bill Wahl and daughter-in-law Tiffany. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Irene Fowler; her first husband Harold Wahl who was killed on active duty while serving in the USAF; and daughter Ann Marie Armstrong from bone cancer. Dianne enjoyed the life as an Air Force wife, traveling throughout the world being married to two Air Force officers.
She loved her miniature schnauzers as she and George traveled throughout the U.S. in their motor home showing the dogs in conformation events. All of her dogs were her babies and always had at least 3 sleeping in the bed. All of her fur babies will truly miss their mother.
