He was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on December 29, 1940 to the parents of Walter and Alma Clark.
Donald enlisted in the U.S. Airforce and advanced to the rank of Staff Sergeant. He completed his service to his country at Travis Airforce Base in California after 8 years and was honorably discharged.
Donald received his Associates Degree and retired from the City of Austin after 25 years of service where he was employed as a computer programmer and systems analyst.
He served with distinction at First Baptist Church on Heflin Lane as: a Trustee, the Treasurer for and member of the Brotherhood, the Financial Chair of the church committee, and a member of the Male Chorus.
In his spare time, Donald was a bowling enthusiast who spent as much time as he could perfecting his game by participating in league bowling and tournaments.
Donald is survived by his daughter Brigitta (Mark), son Donald Jr. (Susa), grandsons Steven (Naomi) and Grant, and a host of relatives in Arkansas, California, Illinois, and Texas.
