Dottie was loved by her husband, Ed, her family and her many friends. She had a beautiful smile, a huge heart, and she never met a stranger. She loved to travel. She loved her dogs, and they all gave her unconditional love as only dogs can do.
Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Sophie, her brother, Louis Podger, her son, Daniel Alan Guerin and her husband, Edward N. Mansfield.
She is survived by her sisters Adeline Koeppel and Sylvia Marteniz of Buffalo, NY, and her granddaughter, Danielle Cenkush and husband Mitch and three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Liberty and Traver Cenkush of Cedar Creek, TX.
The family would like to thank the administration and staff of the Lampasas Assisted Living Center as well as the nurses of Kindred Hospice for loving Dottie and taking compassionate and loving care of her over the last years of her life.
Since Dottie so loved her canine companions, the family suggests donations in her memory to no-kill animal shelters in lieu of flowers.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM, December 5th, 2023, at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 N. IH 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cookwaldencapitalparks.com for the Mansfield family.
