She was preceded in death by her parents, Allene Godfrey Dunn and Charles Dunn.
She was born December 11, 1967, in Shreveport, Louisiana and grew up in Austin, Texas where she graduated from Lanier High School. She started her career at the Texas Department of Insurance. Soon transferring to the Employees Retirement System, retiring in December 2019, dedicating 30 years of service to the State of Texas.
Liz lived life to the fullest and loved to travel. So much, that she started her own travel business ‘Flamingo Journeys’. When she wasn’t traveling, she was watching sports (predominantly a Texas Rangers game), creating a recipe, planning a party, or spending time with her dog, Rizzo and cat, Fiona. Her kind, genuine, and spunky personality will be missed by many.
She is survived by her daughter, Megan Elizabeth Molina; her sisters, Margret Reyes-Mandrell and Shannon Reyes; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 19, 2025, at Brushy Creek Community Center Garden.
