Ernest F. Allen Jr.

He was born March 30, 1927 in Austin, Texas to Ernest and Reedy Allen. Ernest and his wife Darlene, were longtime members of Brentwood Oaks Church of Christ where he was a deacon and church Elder for many years.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include; children, Linda and husband Gary Gray, Randal and wife Twyla Allen, Mark and wife Dawn Deena Allen, and Tim Allen; grandchildren, Lisa, Andra, Makayla, Blair, Wesley, Dustin, Garrett, Hannah, Chris and Josh; and great-grandchildren, Zane, Hayden, Cody, and Kara. He is also survived by his grandson-in-law, Darren, and his granddaughter-in-law, Lisa Gray. He is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 66 years Darlene Allen; son Richard Allen; his parents and his grandsons, James Gray and David Allen.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation Thursday, April 25th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 26th in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
