Eulon Brown, Jr. was born April 17, 1948 in Giddings, Texas to Rev. Eulon Brown, Sr. and Ruth Mae Brown. He confessed in Christ at an early age and became an ordained minister. He departed this life on December 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruthie Mae Brown and both grandparents.
Eulon Brown, Jr. enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country during the Vietnam War. He attended Huston Tillotson College, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in teaching. He was proud to teach his students for over 30 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Tredric Brown, Derrick Brown, La Tonia Brown Huff, Marcus Brown, Eulon Brown, III “Trey”, and Joshua Brown; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Helen Griffin, Sharon Govan (Woodrow), Carolyn Berry (Ronald), his only niece, Ashley Govan; his only nephew, Cornell Johns; and a host of relative and friends; special friend, Lawrence Osborne.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
