Geneva was born on July 1, 1936 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Roy Lee Nix and Eva (Wood) Nix.
Geneva was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be forever remembered for her compassion and generosity. She had a deep love of all holidays as well as two major annual events; one was her annual birthday celebration in Louisiana with the family and friends and of course the Wood Family Reunion. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter Vicki Means, son James Doyle and his wife Sharon, daughter Debbie Doyle and partner Donna Osborne, and son Tommy Doyle and his wife Linda; 11 grandkids, 24 great grandkids and 8 great-great grandkids as well as many extended family members and close friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Ray Doyle, brother Roy Lee, Jr., sisters Billie Louise Nix and Leora McNeil, many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, and nieces and nephews along with 3 son in laws.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Geneva's name may be made to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Hospital Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
