Glen Allen Courtright

Born February 15, 1936 in Webb City, MO, Glen was the son of Ruth Highley Courtright and Raymond F. Courtright. Glen attended Webb City High School before joining the US Air Force. He was stationed at Bergstrom AFB in central Texas when he met his future wife on a blind date. Glen and Patricia Peterson of Austin, TX were wed at Messiah Lutheran Church in April 1958. They were married for 57 years. Together they had 5 children.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; 4 daughters, Rebeccca (Brent) Botbyl of Neiderwald, TX, Sheila Courtright, Cynthia Courtright and Karen Courtright of Austin; and by 1 son , Raymond Courtright of Austin. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Mary Lou Hays of Webb City, MO, Vela Sue (Jack) Shoffler of Carterville, MO, Judy Courtright of Little Rock, AR; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Raymond Courtright and his sister, Patricia Hackney.

Visitation will be between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2016, at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016, at the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
