

Hue My Thi Nguyen Le, 72, passed away on Sunday morning, April 15, 2012 at Scott and White Round Rock Hospital, after struggling valiantly with cancer complications. Hue is survived by her husband, four children, six grandchildren, and her younger brother and his family.
Hue was born on January 01, 1940 in Nha Trang, Vietnam to Nguyen Chau and Le Thi Sao. She finished her primary school at L’Ecole de Francais in Da Lat and graduated from secondary school at Nguyen Ba Tong School in Saigon. Thereafter, she married her beloved husband, Mai Xuan Le, on October 12, 1959.
Hue and Mai had four children. She and her family immigrated to Scranton, Pennsylvania in September 1981. Her family finally settled in Austin, Texas in 1994.
Of all her accomplishments, Hue’s greatest achievements have been the lives of her family and friends. She had a unique gift to recognize and appreciate the talents in others and to make them feel loved and lifted by her presence. Her world class elegance, iron will, and dynamic personality made her instantly unforgettable. Her generous heart filled her home with love, fun, family and friends. She leaves all her children and grandchildren with the knowledge that they were truly loved.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 19th and Friday, April 20th from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home at 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville. The funeral will take place on Saturday, April 21 at 9:30 AM. Sympathy arrangements may be sent to the funeral home.
