Mr. Hung Dinh was a former military officer of Republic of Vietnam’s Armed Force. He was an intelligent and courageous person. He did many distinguished services and received honor medals. After a special training course, he was chosen to serve in the Special Central Unit of Military Intelligence. There, he got the rank of Aspirant. Because his capacity was above his rank, his commander nominated him for the rank of captain. This gave him the opportunity to manage a large net of intelligence personnel until April 1975, when the South Vietnam Government collapsed.
Like many other military officers and civil officials of the Republic of Vietnam, the Vietnamese communist sent him to so called “re-education camps” where he remained over 6 years. After being released, he went to the United States of America in 1995 under the humanitarian plan “HO” as a political refugee.
He lived a harmonious, honest and truthful life.
He died Jan 30 2016, leaving behind his wife, children, all his relatives and friends who loved him very deeply.
