James Sandifer

He was born August 24, 1948 in Victoria, Texas, son of Ollie and Hazel Sandifer. On December 21st 1968, he married Julia McVey and shared a glorious 42 years of marriage together.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and after his discharge started his carrier in Auto Body Management.

He was a family man who cared and loved for his family deeply. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and was always willing to provide support to anyone in need. He provided guidance and advice in times of turmoil and was able to provide a shinning light in a moment of darkness.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Sandifer; His sons, James Sandifer and Cody McDonald; his daughter, Crystal Ellington; his daughter and son-in-law, Lucky and Laura Urias; grandchildren, Ivy Sandifer, Devlin Sandifer, Seth Ellington, Aurora Ellington, Draven Ellington and Liliana Urias; brothers, Billy Sandifer and Larry Sandifer; and sister, Suzanne Koenig.

The viewing will be held Wednesday, August 17th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 18th at 2:00 pm.
