Jane Neita Gee Holliday

Jane was born on March 17, 1928 to Raleigh and Iola Gee in Waco, Texas, and she had an older brother named William. Jane married Carroll Holliday on September 1, 1946. She worked for the Teacher’s Retirement System for 21 years and retired in 1988. Jane was an animal lover and enjoyed traveling with friends and family.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll, and her oldest son, Larry. She is survived by her son, Keith and his wife Lynn; her daughter-in-law, Diane Hale and her husband Eric; and her grandchildren, Greg Holliday and wife Kim, John Holliday and wife Bernice, Jerry Holliday and wife Celinda, and Jamie Holliday. Jane also has four great-grandchildren, Kortlynn, Brandon, Evan and Connor.

The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to David Engle and Kari Silvey and the staff at Lou’s House for their exceptional loving care and support during Jane’s life.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.

Honoring Mrs. Holliday as pallbearers will be: Mike Lummus, Chris Coker, Doug Harris, Eric Hale, Jim Elliott, and Rubert Egg.
