

She was born on January 28, 1942 in Giddings, Texas to Adolph and Annie (Hosea) Kipp. Janet graduated from Giddings High School. She was a member of the Future Homemakers of America, Girls Chorus, Messiah Chorus, and played volleyball. On April 4, 1964, she married Bobby Foehr at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Thorndale, Texas. Janet worked for the Attorney General’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Department of Health and she retired in 1995. She enjoyed dancing, sewing, baking, gardening and her flowers. But most of all, her favorite thing to do was spoiling her grandchildren.
Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Foehr; father, Adolph Kipp; mother, Annie Kipp; brother, Billy Kipp and his wife, Ann; sister, Ruby Baack and her husband, Norman; sister, Joyce Smith and her nephew, Robert Smith.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Les Foehr and his wife Jessica of Austin; daughter, Melissa Anderson of Manor; granddaughters, Aria and Alexis Foehr of Austin, Breonna Anderson of Manor, and Payton Ching and her husband Chris of Hutto; and great-grandsons, Andrew and Holden Ching of Hutto. She is also survived by a host of sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who and knew and loved her.
Honoring Janet as pallbearers will be Chris Ching, Brian Smith, Rusty Davenport, Rodney Anderson, Simon Hernandez, and Jerry Gonzalez.
A gathering of family and friends for visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Janet’s funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 9, 2021, in the Longhorn Room of the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
