On Sunday, June 3, 2012 the Angel of Silence called Jason home. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Jason had touched in some way throughout his life. He was received with open arms by his late grandmother Gladys M Sims.
Jason attended John H. Regan High School in Austin, Texas and played sax in the honor band where his passion for music really shined. After high school Jason pursued a career as a corporate trainer for several major companies. This allowed him to become a world traveler at an early age. Although he was passionate about training, he also had a entrepreneurial mind set. Jason owned and operated several businesses throughout his life from selling videos on ebay to owning a restaurant and real estate investment. During the end of his life, Jason embraced volleyball and started mastering every aspect of the sport.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Mother, Judith A Sims of Ennis, Texas; three aunts, Cheryl McLaughlin of Austin Texas, Barbara Searcy of Aurora Colorado, Holly Routt of Sonoma California and a host of relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Cook-Walden/ Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
