Born on March 8 in Auxi-le-chateau, France, he graduated from Augsburg American High School before proudly serving in the United State Air Force.
During his distinguished military career spanning over 20 years, he served as a communications specialist. He was stationed at various bases throughout Europe, Asia, and Texas. He participated in the Vietnam War and retired from the Air Force in 1978.
Following retirement, Jean Pierre worked for various companies before retiring from the United States Postal Service. He never met a stranger. He will be remembered for his friendships, generosity, affinity for golf, working on cars, riding motorcycles, and his love of France.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his wife Sieglinde, his French siblings, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many family and friends.
A visitation will be held on April 15, 2026 from 5pm-9pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, in Pflugerville. Interment to follow at the veterans cemetery in Killeen, Texas at a later date.
