

He was born to Jessie Avertis Daniels and Jewell Ruth Atkins Daniels on September 21, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, soon after the family moved to Meridian, Mississippi where they remained and where he joined Pilgrim Progress Baptist church at an early age.
He attended Crestwood Elementary, Carver Junior High, and Meridian Senior High School, where he graduated in Class of 1982. After graduating High school, he attended Meridian Community College before enlisting in the Armed Services.
Jerome joined the United States Air Force in 1984 and served his career as Sergeant Corrosion Control Specialist for F-15 and F-16 Tactical fighter jets. His tour of duty was England Air Force Base (Louisiana), Italian Air Force Base Sigonella (Italy), Bergstrom Air Force Base (Texas) then became Corrosion Control Instructor for the Royal Saudi Air Force in Taif, Saudi Arabia as part of McDonald Douglas Peace Sun project. After returning to the United Stated he opened his own business, Xquizit Aircraft Maintenance Services. Painting Helicopters, Lear Jets and G1 for Raytheon, Million Air, Boeing and many other Jet Aircraft and Airline companies.
He married Charlene Marie Moultrie on December 30, 1984. To this union was born his loving and devoted daughter Whitney Danielle Daniels on December 17, 1986. Spending time with family was his greatest joy and that is exactly how he chose to live his life. Jerome cherished every moment to lavish love on his pride and joy, his beautiful daughter and grandson Emri Alijah-Jerome Daniels.
Jerome was an avid fisherman, and loved camping. He shared many of these moments with his family and friends in Mississippi and Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents Avertis and Jewell Daniels, and two siblings Desiree Daniels Hubbard and Chester Lee Atkins.
Jerome leaves to mourn siblings: Reverend Gregory Daniels (Glory), Gwendolyn Peavy, Janice Daniels Rogers (Johnny) and Tonya Daniels. As well as Uncle, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. He has a host of friends who are near and dear to him, that also share the pain of his loss.
A visitation for Jerome will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 26, 2024 at 12:00 p.m., 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
A Veteran Honor and committal service will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
