Jill Marie Jernigan was born in Houston, TX to parents Lt. Col. Jimmie (USAF) and Carole Jernigan, and moved as a military family to Germany, Montana, and California before settling in Austin, TX. She is survived by one sister, Lynn, of Cedar Park, TX.
She has a degree in Studio Art from the University of Texas in Austin. She spent her career as a photo stylist and fashion merchandiser in Dallas, San Francisco, Austin, Houston and Palm Beach. She continued entering art shows globally throughout her retirement. She loved a good theme party, a well-made cocktail, travel, science fiction, musical theater, and Texas Longhorn football.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held for Jill on Saturday, February 7, 3:00 PM at the Lakeview Bible Church, 4310 N. Quinlan Park Rd, Austin, TX 78732, Room 139 . Greeters will be there to direct visitors.
