Joanna Kay Gillum

Survived by her loving parents Cory Gillum & Cassie King of Pflugerville, who are grateful for the lifetime of love she was able to give them in her short time here on earth. Her life has drawn us even closer and we find great comfort in knowing she is with Jesus now and we will eventually join her there in heaven some day.

Joanna was a beautiful, sweet baby girl who touched so many lives in such a short time and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Joanna is loved by many grandparents, aunts, uncles,and cousins.

We are very grateful and humbled by the countless acts of service and endless emotional support we have received from family and friends, and some extraordinary people we hardly know.

Those left behind to cherish her sweet memory in Cassie's family are her grandmothers, Donna King and Michaelah King; grandfathers, Kenny King and Calvin Ekarius; great-grandmothers, Deborah Smith and Joan Mackenzie; uncle, Joseph Ekarius; great aunts, Donna Willis, Mandi Adams, and Linda King; great uncles, James Willis, Jason Adams, and Clifton Willis; and great godfather, John Bogdanor; and from Cory's family, grandfather, Gary Gillum; grandmother, Jan Gillum; aunt, Lysa Dodd; uncles, Trey Eastwood, Doug Williams, and Matthew Gillum; great aunt, Toni Pavalos; and great uncles Pete Pavalos and Terry Tippit. She is also survived by her godparents, Hunter Blair and Kayla Previte, who loved her very much.

Please join us in "Celebrating Joanna's Life" on Saturday, January 11th, 2014 at 3:30pm, at the Cook-Walden Funeral Home in Pflugerville. There will a reception dinner after the services at the Sleep Inn Suites in Round Rock at 1980 S IH35.
