JoAnne Davis

She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age at St. Stephen M.B.C. where she served as a faithful member.

She graduated from L.C. Anderson High School (Austin, TX) in 1969 and married the love of her life Lorenzo Davis on January 16, 1970. She was employed with Austin State School where she worked for other thirty years before retiring in 2001. She loved sports and spending time with family and attended every sporting event for every child and grandchild when possible.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 49 years Lorenzo Davis, two daughters, Yolanda Davis-Gavin (Derwin), Erica Hamilton; two sons, Anthony Davis (Erica), Derrick Davis (Gail); one sister, Alpha Jean Cormier; two brothers, LD Hornsby Jr (Angela) and Kevin Hornsby (Connie); and twelve grandchildren, Dexter, Michaela, Dierra, Jameel, DeAundra, Derrick Jr., Patrick, Tiffany, Orbony, Haleigh, Jessica, Jariel, and a host of family members and friends.
