His life adventures started when he was just shy of a month old when the young family received their first duty station to San Antonio, TX. From there they moved to Ft. Hood, TX– where Jonathan would become big brother to sister Audrey Concepcion. Later, Jonathan and his family had the opportunity to live in Germany where he encounter his love for History, then off to Louisiana and Chicago; where he excelled in the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC), high school football and band. It was also the time he met his love Vahness Swilley, he then married her in 2009.
In 2011, after winning a good game of Rock-Paper-Scissors against his wife, they moved from Chicago to Austin, TX. The adventures never slowed down for Jonathan. During his time in Texas he attended Texas State University where he double major in History and Anthropology. He joined the brotherhood of Sigma Lambda Beta where he shared his life experiences with his brothers and gain live experiences by giving back to the community along side them. Jonathan also obtain a paralegal certificate from University of Texas. He used his education and personal experiences to work for many law firms within central Texas and opened his own business Trident Legal Services – providing back office legal support to all of central Texas.
Jonathan loved to learn and train, so much so, he became a licensed private investigator, process server and substitute teacher. There was nothing Jon couldn’t do. Jonathan celebrated his second birth in September 2019 when he was baptized in Jesus’ name at Bridge Community Church.
Jonathan is survived by his father Angel Moises Concepcion, Mother Ziada Concepcion, sister Audrey Franchesca Concepcion, Grandmother Lidia Bonilla Hernandez, many uncles, aunts, and cousins, his love Vahness Swilley-Concepcion and many Sigma Lambda Betas brothers.
Jonathan was proceeded in death by his Grandfathers Alberto Heredia Perez and Miguel Concepcion Morena , and Grandmother Maria Burgos Millet.
Jonathan Moises Concepcion blessed this world with love, laughter and wisdom. He was called home on May 29, 2020. His life will be celebrated in Hutto, TX and Puerto Rico where he will be place to rest.
Jonathan will be sadly missed, happily remembered and forever loved.
