Judith “Judy” Ann Lyman, 56, of Austin, Texas started her next voyage on December 18, 2011. Judy was born on March 7, 1955 in Plymouth, Massachusetts to the late Ralph Lyman and Alice Morris. She loved to travel whether it be by land, air, or sea. She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, best friend and entrepreneur. She was a hair dresser by trade, until health conditions interrupted her dream. In true “Nana” style, she turned lemons to lemonade taking her last few years to travel the seas and see the country. She had a love for life and an amazing ability to accomplish anything that she set out to do. We celebrate her life and all the lives that she has touched along the way.
She is survived by her mother Alice Morris, 5 siblings: Nita Johnson, Bill Lyman, Kenny Lyman, Alice Wilson and Ralph Lyman, 2 sons: Jason Houde and Chris Houde, 7 grandchildren: Courtney Lavery-Shelton, Jennifer Christine Venegas, Hope Renee Houde, Jason Houde, Christian Houde, Morgen Houde and Kaden Houde, 2 great grandchildren: Damien Lavery and Jordan Rios and her bird Tyler. Judy wished to have her final resting place at sea. Services will be held on a later date. If you would like to be a part of these services, please email [email protected] so that you may be notified of the arrangements when they are made.
