Leigh Joan Nunez

She went home to Heaven on September 1, 2016, surrounded by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Cory, sister Mary Kaye, and brother Patrick.

Leigh is survived by Eddie Nunez, her husband of 48 years, son Sean and daughter Kristi, daughter-in-law Stacey Nunez, son-in-law Jason Rosselot; grandchildren, Walker and Cooper Nunez, Aidan, Ethan, Noah, and Liam Rosselot, siblings Susan and Scott MacDonald, Linda and Ron Neary-Ross, Kathleen and Larry Kopjak, Robyn and Del Stoft, Dr. Michael and Jane Siemens-Neary, Daniel and Shirley Neary, Peg and Tom Johnson, Jean and Denny Reavis, Chris and Bruce Regnitz, and many beloved relatives and friends.

Leigh was a Godly woman that loved the Lord; a gentle spirit whose mission in life was to serve and care for others. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and taught 4th grade for 22 years and touched countless lives in many ways. She and Eddie shared a beautiful life traveling the world with their kids. Leigh was a shining light to everyone, especially her 6 grandchildren who loved and adored her. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

A Mass celebrating Leigh’s life will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Pflugerville, Texas followed by a reception.
