

Leonard accepted Christ at an early age. He was a faithful member of the Greater Ulit Missionary Baptist Church. He was an active member of Brotherhood and President of the Male Chorus.
Leonard was a graduate of Stuttgart American High School in Germany. He continued his education by attending Austin Community College and received degrees in Associate of Arts in General Studies and Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice.
Leonard started his career in the United States Army with the G-2 1st Cavalry Division. He served two tours in Vietnam. He received The United States of America Bronze Star Medal and The Purple Heart. During his service in the military he received numerous certificates and promotions. He retired from the military with an honorable discharge after 23 years of service as a Master Sergeant. He started a new career as a Special Agent employed with the
Department of Defense, Defense Investigate Service. He retired from the agency after 20 years of service.
Leonard and Minnie were married on February 14, 1967 and remained married until death parted them after 48 years.
Leonard is preceded in death by his father Lorenzo Manghane.
Leonard leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Minnie White, two children, Darrell White Sr.,and Donna McCarver, two grandsons Darrell White Jr. and Alton McCarver Jr.,three great grandchildren, Mar'deace White, Aubri McCarver and Amari Watson. His mother Mary Manghane, six brothers, Robert Manghane, Larry Manghane, Thomas Manghane, Dwight Manghane, Terry Manghane, and Dannhy Manghane, three sisters, Brenda Washington,
Sylvia Manghane, Evonne Terrance, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
You will be missed my loving husband, father and grandfather.
