Leonor Ochoa, age 94, passed away January 30, 2011 in Austin, TX. She was born December 30, 1916 to Vidal and Trinidad Almendarez, in Edinburg, TX. She married Augustine Ochoa, and spent many years with him in Port Lavaca, TX.
She is preceded in death by her husband Augustine Ochoa.
Leonor is survived by son, August Ochoa and his wife Diana; son, Homer Ochoa and his wife Suzi; granddaughter, Jennifer Molina and her husband Ron; granddaughter, Amy Ochoa; great grandchildren, Nicholas Molina, Morgan Molina, Jacob Sanchez, Joell Sanchez, and Ezra Sanchez; step daughter, Elmira Collins and her family; and by step grandchildren, Denise Guerra, JP Rodriquez, Jacquelyn Banning, and their families. She is also survived by her very special friends at Village Christian Apartments.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ron Molina, Nicholas Molina, Morgan Molina, John Paul Rodriguez, Luke Banning, and Juan Guerra. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Sanchez and Joell Sanchez.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2010 at ten o’clock in the morning at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home, with graveside services to follow.
